IBPS Clerk Exam Syllabus 2021 (Prelims+Main)

Exam Pattern for IBPS Clerk 2021-22. Finally the most awaited notification of the year IBPS Clerk Notification 2021-22 OUT!!! The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the official IBPS Clerk notification 2021 on the official website. The notification was released to recruit 7855 vacancies to the Clerical cadre posts in 11 public sector banks. Earlier, IBPS Clerk tentative exam dates are disclosed as per which the IBPS Clerk Prelims 2021 exam is scheduled to be held in December 2021. On the other hand, the IBPS Clerk Mains exam will be conducted in January/February 2022 (Tentatively).

IBPS Clerk Exam Syllabus 2021: There are slight changes in the topics asked in the Prelims as well as in the Mains examinations under IBPS Clerk Syllabus. For instance, IBPS Clerk Prelims syllabus comprise of 3 subjects which are English, Reasoning & Quant. While IBPS Clerk Mains syllabus consists of English language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness. Questions in the GA section might be asked from the following topics:

  • Questions will be asked mainly from the Current Affairs & Banking Awareness topics 
  • This section may also include questions on  Books & authors, Currencies, Important Places, Awards, Headquarters, Prime Minister's Schemes, Important Days, etc.
  • It would be advisable to go through the GK updates of at least the last 4-5 months.
  • Do not forget to prepare for static GK part as well, especially the countries, their capitals, and currencies (Try to focus especially on the countries that have been in news lately, for instance, the countries visited by our Prime Minister or President or with whom any major MoU has been signed).
